Secondhand Serenade, or John Vesely, is an acoustic rock artist from Menlo Park, California. Vesely is characterized by multitrack recording so he can create the sound of a band by himself. He uses multitrack recording to create vocal harmonies, and a lead acoustic guitar over strummed chords. Vesely started his public music career in a San Francisco Bay Area band called "Sounds Like Life," which also featured Ronnie Day.
